Self Sufficiency Scheme (Public Private Partnership Program): MALCO partnered the government to develop rural infrastructure in surrounding villages. The project includes the development of community buildings, community toilets, school buildings, compound wall, anganwadi, drainage system and among others. MALCO will bear one-third of the project investment. During 2011-12, Rs. 1.5 lakhs was contributed to the PN Patty Panchayat for infrastructure development as part of model village development. In 2012-13, Rs. 1 Lakh was contributed to the Manjakuttai Village in Yercaud Union for construction of drinking water pipeline project.
