Stars of Business
To identify the fast trackers and accelerated performers the management introduced a concept called “Stars of the Business” to take up enhanced job responsibilities. This is done through “ACT –UP” process. ACT UP, the Accelerated Competency Tracking and Up-gradation program is been conducted with the objective of identifying the Stars of the Business in a systematic assessment centre through external consultant. The Stars of business group comprises of high potential individuals ready to be provided accelerated growth and take on enhanced roles of responsibilities. It supports the organization by creating successful managers and empowering them to move far beyond their current roles and responsibilities, unleash their confidence and ability to contribute as most successful “Business Leaders of Tomorrow” for the Vedanta Group, across the world.
Individual developmental sheets will be made for the ACT UP participants with respect to their competencies. Their career development will be tracked by addressing their developmental needs to perform as STAR Performers.
